Linear banks in a T-formation are visible as very subtle earthworks on digital images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017on the north-facing slopes south of Rookery Nook, Kenn.
The visible earthworks do not correspond with any field boundaries depicted on the 19th-century maps available to the survey, a small plantation being depicted in this location on the Tithe Map for Kenn.
The slight banks are interpreted as evidence of former field-boundaries of probable post-medieval date that were cleared prior to the mid-19th century.
