A curvilinear ditch is visible as a cropmark circa 2m wide and 115m long on the east-facing slopes north of Woodlands Lodge, Kenn, on digital images derived from aerial photographs of 2010. The visible cropmark does not correspond with any boundary depicted on the 19th century maps available to the survey but is keeping with the character of the boundaries shown to the north, a field pattern characterised by HLC as post-medieval enclosure with medieval elements. The cropmark is interpreted as evidence of a former field boundary of possible medieval origin that had been cleared prior to the 1840s.
