Parallel linear earthwork banks, approximately 4 metres in width, are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1950. They are aligned cross-contour and depicted as orchard on the late-19th century OS map. The earthworks are interpreted as post-medieval or 19th century banks for fruit tree cultivation, and although scattered trees were still visible in this plot on the 1950s aerial photographs, they seem to have been removed since.
