A linear earthwork ditch, circa 3.5 metres wide, is visible on aerial photographs taken in 1951. It is aligned cross-contour and parallel to a field boundary that is depicted on historic mapping, and is interpreted as the remains of a field boundary that went out of use by the mid-19th century.
