A road is depicted on the Tithe Map for Kenton.

This stretch of road is not depicted on the Ordnance Survey 25inch First Edition map.

A curvilinear hollow is visible as an earthwork.

A curvilinear hollow up to circa 18m wide and 300m long is visible as an earthwork aligned roughly south-east to north-west across the north-west facing slopes east of Whitcombe.
The visible earthwork corresponds with a road depicted on the Tithe Map for Kenton. The road is not shown on the OS First Edition Map and was therefore removed between circa 1840 and 1880.
