A series of narrow ditches is visible.

Narrow sinuous and linear ditches are visible as earthworks on digital images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017, on the combe slopes to the northwest of Church Hills, Denbury and Torbryan. The channels roughly follow the contours of the combe and are interpreted as the gutters of a catch meadow irrigation system, tapping a watercourse to the northeast. Catch meadows were popular in the 19th century but many continued in use into the mid-20th century. The ditches are not visible on other available aerial imagery.
