Hegarty, C., Knight, S. and Sims, R., 2018-2019, The South Devon Coast to Dartmoor Aerial Investigation and Mapping Survey. Area 1, Haldon Ridge to Dart Valley (AI&M) (Interpretation). SDV361305.

Linear earthwork banks, circa 4m in width, are visible on digital images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017, to the northwest of Well Barn Farm, Denbury and Torbryan. The three parallel earthworks are northeast to southwest aligned and are in keeping with the broader historic field pattern depicted in this location on the mid-19th century Parish Tithe Map which is characterised as medieval enclosures based on strip fields. The earthworks do not correspond with any linear features shown on this map, or on subsequent available historic maps and they are therefore interpreted as relict medieval or post-medieval field boundaries which had passed out of use by the mid-19th century.
