A rectilinear earthwork bank, up to approximately 4 metres wide, is visible on aerial photographs taken in 1946. It does not fit easily into the extant field pattern or into the curvilinear fields of medieval character as depicted on the Tithe map. It may simply be the remains of a post-medieval field boundary that went out of use by the mid-19th century.
