An alignment of tin pits on the hillside to the west of the Cowsic River, comprising conical pits with spoil heaps on the downslope sides.

Centred SX 58787817. An alignment of tin pits form a roughly east to west line between SX 58877815 and SX 58697815. The pits follow the line of a slight natural declivity in the crest and moderate east-facing slope of the ridge above the right bank of the Cowsic River. On average the pits are 5.0 metres in diameter and 1.0 metre deep with spoil heaps on their downslope sides (citing Probert, S. A. J., 11/07/1994, Royal Commission on the Historic Monuments in England Field Investigation)
