There are about six (possibly more) prehistoric hut circles among Foxholes clitter south-south-west of Crow Tor.

Newman, P., 2004, Merrivale Range Baseline Condition Survey (Report - Survey). SDV346874.

(30/11/2004) A hut circle lies on the edge of clitter to the west of Crow Tor approximately 45 metres east of Foxholes stream. It is built from moorstone boulders set into the ground and has an internal diameter of 2.0 metres. The remains are in a stable condition. A second larger hut survives nearby approximately 8.0 metres to the south (SX 67 NW 248).
