Full description
Pears, B., 2013, Hazard Farm, Harberton, Devon: Trench evaluation (Report - Evaluation). SDV360866.
An archaeological trench evaluation on land at Hazard Farm, Harberton, Devon was undertaken by AC archaeology during February 2013.
Trench 17 was located upon a central plateau and contained several small boundary ditches and a pit. No artefacts were recovered from these features but F1707 cut through a pit F1709 implying some chronological depth. The earlier circular-shaped pit had a symmetrical profile, rounded base and contained evidence of in situ burning and numerous charcoal fragments in three distinct fills.
