Hegarty, C., Knight, S. and Sims, R., 2018-2019, The South Devon Coast to Dartmoor Aerial Investigation and Mapping Survey. Area 1, Haldon Ridge to Dart Valley (AI&M) (Interpretation). SDV361305.

Linear banks circa 2m wide are visible on aerial photographs of 1979, defining a rectilinear enclosure approximately 65m by 70 in size on the south-east facing slopes of a spur to the south of Hannaford Farm, Kenn.
The visible earthworks do not correspond with any boundaries or enclosure depicted on the 19th century maps available to the survey but are in keeping with the character of the surrounding field pattern. The enclosure also appears to be aligned on the former route of Freer’s Lane, following the ridge immediately to the north. The function of the enclosure is not known but it is interpreted as probably post-medieval in date.
The banks are not recorded from any more recent images available to the survey and have probably been levelled.
