Seven oval shaped mounds, between 6-10m in length, associated with prehistoric or Romano-British field system MDV8644 are visible as earthworks on digital images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017, on a limestone plateau at Clennonpark Wood, Denbury and Torbryan. The mounds are located at SX82606771; SX82666771; SX82666769; SX82666765; SX82686764; SX82656764 and SX82626761.Their form, character and setting within the field system supports the interpretation that they represent clearance cairns of possible prehistoric or Romano-British date.
