Summary
A circular mound is visible on aerial photographs of 1946 as an earthwork on the north-west edge of Exeter Racecourse, Great Haldon, Kenn. The mound occupied a prominent position on a north-east facing spur on Great Haldon. It is interpreted as a possible barrow of Bronze Age date.

A mound is visible as an earthwork.

A mound is visible on aerial photographs of 1946 as a roughly circular low earthwork approximately 25 metres in diameter on the north-east facing slopes of Great Haldon, Kenn. It is interpreted as a possible barrow of Bronze Age date. The mound was probably levelled during landscaping and access works at Exeter Racecourse. A smaller earthwork ringwork, possibly a cairn, was visible approximately 35metres to the south-west.
