Linear earthwork banks, circa 5m in width, are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1986 and digital images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017, to the southwest of Norden Farm, Denbury and Torbryan. The parallel northeast to southwest aligned earthworks are in keeping with the historic field pattern depicted in this location on the mid-19th century Parish Tithe Map which is characterised as post-medieval enclosures, although they do not correspond with any linear features shown on this map, or on subsequent available historic maps. They are therefore interpreted as relict field boundaries of medieval or post-medieval date which had passed out of use by the mid-19th century.
