A mound is visible as an earthwork.

A roughly circular mound up to circa 8m across is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of 1946 to the north of Harcombe House, Chudleigh. The function of the mound is unknown but it appears to overlay, and therefore post-date, orchard banks of probable 19th century origin. The field is now in use as a holiday camp and the mound has probably been levelled.
