A roughly circular mound up to circa 7m in diameter is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of 1946 on the on the west facing slopes of a spur south of Ducksmoor Covert, Chudleigh. The mound might be a cairn of later prehistoric date, possibly part of a large group recorded along the spur. A 3.5m hollow visible at the summit of the mound might be evidence of erosion or damage. The location of the mound is largely obscured by dense vegetation on images derived from aerial photographs of 2016 and the earthwork is not identifiable, although a modern track might clip the south-east edge of the earthwork.
