An oval mound is visible.

The mound is not identifiable as an earthwork.

An oval mound 3.5 to 4.5m across is visible as a low earthwork on aerial photographs of 1946 on the on the south-west facing slopes to the north-west of Thorne Cross Farm, Chudleigh. The mound might be a cairn of later prehistoric date, possibly part of a large group recorded along the spur.
The field in which the mound is located has been improved on images derived from aerial photographs of 2016 and the earthwork has possibly been levelled.
