The earthworks do not correspond with any features shown in this location, which is shown as an orchard.

Two irregularly shaped pits, circa 35m and 65m in length, are visible as earthworks on digital images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017, to the southeast of Milton Farm, Ogwell. The visible earthworks do not correspond with any pit features depicted in this location on the available mid to late 19th century mapping, which is shown as an orchard. They are interpreted as extractive pits of post-medieval or 19th century date, with an orchard being established within the dis-used pits by the late 19th century.
