A possible mound under tree cover is visible.

A possible circular mound up to circa 30m in diameter was visible an earthwork under tree cover on aerial photographs of 1946, on the south-west facing slopes of Great Haldon, north of Oxencombe Farm, Chudleigh. The mound is interpreted as evidence of possible barrow or cairn of Bronze Age date. The possible earthwork is not identifiable under more mature tree cover on images derived from aerial photographs of 2016.
