Full description

Devon County Council, 1838-1848, Tithe Mosaic, approximately 1838-1848 (Cartographic). SDV349431.

Fields named as 'Windmill Field' (306) on the Stockleigh Pomery Tithe Map and Apportionment and 'Little Windmill' (759), 'Great Windmill' (760) and 'Windmill Plantation' (769) on the Cheriton Fitzpaine Tithe Map and Apportionment are indicative of a windmill that formerly stood in this vicinity.
