Summary
No long extant; a building here pre-dated the row of cottages (MDV122915). Dating to at least the early – mid 19th century, based on cartographic evidence. Depicted on the 1840s Tithe Map and occupied by paupers, this building appears to have replaced by a row of cottages by the later 19th century.

Full description
South West Heritage Trust, 1838-1848, Digitised Tithe Maps and Transcribed Apportionments (Cartographic). SDV359954.
Dwelling shown on the Mary Tavy Tithe Map; 786 on apportionment (‘Cottage, owned by the parisioners, occupied by paupers’). Aligned roughly south-west by north- east.
Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.
No sign of the building shown and the late 19th century historic map shows a row of cottages has been constructed nearby to the south-west of the site.
