Two roughly circular platforms or hollows are identifiable.

Charcoal burning platform in Dewerstone Wood in good condition. Platform cut into the hillside with 5.5 metres diameter.

Two roughly circular platforms or hollows are identifiable on visualisations derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017 as earthworks circa 8m and 9m across, cut into the south-facing slope under Dewerstone Wood.
It is probable that one of these is the same as the feature interpreted as a charcoal burning platform by the above authority.
The earthworks are obscured from view by dense tree cover on all aerial photographs available to the survey.
