Full description

Holley, S., 2006, A Survey of the Charcoal-burning Platforms at Goodameavy, Devon, C32, 13, 26, 37-39, Plan + Photographs (Report - Survey). SDV360386.

Site visited on 20th March 2006. Charcoal burning platform in Cadworthy Wood to the north of the River Plym in good condition. Cut into the hillside and obscured by downhill creep. Spoil forming a crescent shaped mound down slope. Roughly circular platform diameter of 4. 5 metres.
