Summary
Sites of barrows in this area 'raddon hills'. Largest excavated 1868 by kirwan only a macehead found in mound. Vis=24/1/1969(os) area indicated is a high ridge-like spur. Arable and no traces of barrow group. Os appear to have identified 'raddon hills' incorrectly. This siting should probably be for ss90sw/17.(uglow, j. Pers comm june 1983).
