'B.S.' for boundary stone is depicted on the late 19th century historic map.

Boundary stone approximately 5 metres from road near to the 7th tee of Tavistock Golf Course on a small mound by track leading across course (north side of the road) (SX50357 73887). Legend ‘W/T/’. Worn granite with faint inscription. Some chips to edges and across top of stone. Exposed position. Inscribed 'W/T/' for Whitchurch, Tavistock parishes. Thought to date to c.1822.
