Full description
Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division, Untitled Source (Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division Card). SDV24.
Supposed standing stone "a" one of two. Vis=14/4/1970(os) recumbent block of unhewn sandstone roughly rectangular and its top is flush with the surrounding peat. Length 1.3m, width 0.7m.

Payne, S., 2011, Farm Environment Plan Survey Visit (Personal Comment). SDV348588.
Site visit to Witheridge Moor to survey targeted areas for Farm Environment Plan. Survey revealed that the stone is lying on its side and partially covered by vegetation (Sphagnum, heathers). Only visible from close by.
