A rectilinear shaped earthwork, circa 32m in length by 22m in width, is visible on aerial photographs taken in 1946 and digital images derived from lidar data captured in 2013, within the grounds of West Ogwell House, Ogwell. The earthwork platform is interpreted as a garden terrace associated with the house and is of possible 19th century date. The earthwork does not correspond with any garden features shown in this location on the Parish Tithe Map, or on subsequent available historic maps.
