A group of 10 sub-circular shaped mounds, circa 8m diameter, are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1984 and digital images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017, on a limestone plateau on Emblett Hill, Ogwell. The mounds are located at SX84167068; SX84207069; SX84197070; SX84227071; SX84217072; SX84227073; SXX217075; SX84257073; SX84257069 and SX84277068, amongst and likely associated with field boundaries MDV123183. They are interpreted as possible clearance cairns of prehistoric or Romano-British date based on their similarity of character and setting to other clearance cairns recorded to the immediate southeast MDV123178 and further to the south, such as MDV122743, MDV122748 and MDV122749.
