Hegarty, C., Knight, S. and Sims, R., 2018-2019, The South Devon Coast to Dartmoor Aerial Investigation and Mapping Survey. Area 1, Haldon Ridge to Dart Valley (Interpretation). SDV361305.

Curvilinear and linear banks, circa 7m wide, are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 and digital images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017, to the east of Tor Haven Farm, Ogwell. The earthworks do not correspond with any features shown in this location on the mid-19th century Parish Tithe Map, or on subsequent available historic maps. They are of largely uncertain origin, although are tentatively interpreted as enclosures of potential prehistoric or Romano-British date. The presence of prehistoric field systems recorded to both the east and west (MDV19206 and MDV76373, respectively) adds some support to this. Further investigation, for example, site inspection, may help to clarify more fully the nature and origin of these earthworks.
