Narrow curvilinear ditches, less than 2m wide, and a bank, circa 3m wide, are visible on digital images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017 as earthworks on the combe slopes to the north of Combe, Bickington. The channels roughly follow the contours of the south facing combe and occupy an area of circa 0.50 hectares. They are interpreted as the gutters of a catch meadow irrigation system of 19th century date.
