Linear banks, between 3m to 12m wide, are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1949 and digital images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017, to the southwest of Ingsdon Manor, Ilsington. The northeast to southwest and northwest to southeast aligned earthworks are in keeping with the historic field pattern depicted in this location on the mid-19th century Parish Tithe Map which is characterised as post-medieval enclosures with medieval elements. They partly correspond with field boundaries shown on this map and are interpreted as relict field boundaries of potential medieval date which had largely passed out of use by the mid-19th century.
