Hegarty, C., Knight, S. and Sims, R., 2018-2019, The South Devon Coast to Dartmoor Aerial Investigation and Mapping Survey. Area 1, Haldon Ridge to Dart Valley (AI&M) (Interpretation). SDV361305.

Earthworks of linear banks and a ditch, between 5m to 8m wide, are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1946, to the northeast of Moorpark, Newton Abbot. The northwest to southeast aligned banks, the southern-most of which is flanked by a ditch, are in keeping with the historic field pattern depicted in this location on the mid-19th century Parish Tithe Map characterised as post-medieval enclosures, although they do not correspond with any linear features on this map, or on later available historic maps. They are interpreted as possible relict field boundaries of medieval or post-medieval date which had passed out of use by the mid-19th century. The earthworks are not visible on other available aerial imagery and have likely been completely levelled.
