A linear feature is visible as a pale cropmark on aerial imagery taken in 1999 and as an earthwork ditch on aerial imagery taken between 1998 and 2017, to the south of Higher Ingsdon, Ilsington. The earthwork is northwest to southeast aligned and is in keeping with the historic field pattern depicted in this location on the mid-19th century Parish Tithe Map which is characterised as post-medieval enclosures with medieval elements, although does not correspond with any linear features on this map, or on later available historic maps. It is therefore interpreted as a relict medieval or post-medieval field boundary which had passed out of use by the mid-19th century.
