Royal Air Force, 1946, RAF/106G/UK/1412, RAF/106G/UK/1412 RS 4053-4054 13-APR-1946 (Aerial Photograph). SDV352504.

Ordnance Survey, 1984, OS/84170, OS/84170 V 076-077 04-JUL-1984 (Aerial Photograph). SDV352491.

Linear boundaries are visible as slight earthworks and cropmarks of ditches.

Hegarty, C., Knight, S. and Sims, R., 2018-2019, The South Devon Coast to Dartmoor Aerial Investigation and Mapping Survey. Area 1, Haldon Ridge to Dart Valley (AI&M) (Interpretation). SDV361305.

Five parallel linear banks up to 2.5m wide and 70m long are clearly visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of 1984 on the south-east facings slopes north-west of Parr’s Lane, Chudlegh. Cropmark evidence supports the interpretation that they were flanked by narrow ditches. The visible features do not correspond with any field boundaries depicted on the 19th century maps available to the survey but are in keeping with the character of the surrounding post-medieval field pattern. The field boundaries were therefore probably removed prior to circa 1840.
