Hegarty, C., Knight, S. and Sims, R., 2018-2019, The South Devon Coast to Dartmoor Aerial Investigation and Mapping Survey. Area 1, Haldon Ridge to Dart Valley (Interpretation). SDV361305.

A linear ditched bank is visible on aerial photographs of 1964 as an earthwork on the north-west facing slopes of a spur to the west of the Old Pound Cottage, Chudlegh. The visible earthwork corresponds closely with a field boundary depicted on the Tithe map for Chudlegh, but which is not shown on the OS 1880s First Edition map. The field boundary was therefore probably removed between circa 1840 and 1880. The plot has been landscaped as a garden and only the western end of the former the boundary survives as a subtle ditch earthwork.
