It corresponds to a Mill Leat depicted and marked on late-19th century mapping, which runs south to Furzeleigh Corn Mill (MDV21150) and appears to be controlled by sluices to the north where the water is taken from the river (MDV112348). Only the segment that is visible on the aerial imagery has been transcribed.
