Circular and rectilinear structures of a sewage works are visible on aerial photographs taken from 1946 onwards, within Stover Park, Teigngrace. The sewage works is likely associated with construction of the Second World War American hospital of Ilford Park (MDV55119), located circa 220m to the west. The sewage works remains unchanged on aerial imagery of between 1999-2000, although has been completely demolished and a new works rebuilt in its place by 2006.
