A roughly linear earthwork ditch, approximately 2.5 metres wide, is visible on aerial photographs taken in 1995 and images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017. It is located in a plot depicted as orchard on the late-19th century mapping, and tree cover obscures the ground surface on earlier aerial photographs. It appears to link a small structure visible on the 1946 aerial photographs to Merrifield Road, and may have been a post-medieval or modern trackway.
