A ditched enclosure of possible later prehistoric to Roman date is visible on aerial photographs of 2015 as a cropmark on the north west facing slopes overlooking the Kate Brook, south east of Chudleigh.
The ditch cropmarks are up to circa 3.5m wide, defining a triangular or rectilinear enclosed area approximately 35m long and circa 20m wide.
