A curvilinear ditch is visible on aerial photographs of 1946 and 1964 as an earthwork up to circa 3m wide and circa 75m long south of Stokelake Farm, Hennock. The visible earthworks correspond with a field boundary depicted on the Tithe map for Chudleigh, but not the Ordnance Survey 25inch First Edition map. The earthwork is interpreted as a former field boundary of probable medieval origin that was cleared between circa 1840 and 1880. The earthwork is not visible on more recent images available to the survey and has probably been levelled.
