Hegarty, C., Knight, S. and Sims, R., 2018-2019, The South Devon Coast to Dartmoor Aerial Investigation and Mapping Survey. Area 1, Haldon Ridge to Dart Valley (Interpretation). SDV361305.

Curvilinear ditches or hollows are visible on aerial photographs of the 1940s onwards and digital images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017 as slight earthworks following the contours of the south-east facing slopes south of Gappah Farm, Kingsteignton.
The subtle earthwork hollows are up to circa 8m wide and define curvilinear enclosures descending the combe slopes. The uppermost earthwork corresponds with a field boundary depicted on the Tithe Map for Kingsteignton, but not the OS First Edition 25inch map. The lower earthworks do not correspond with any depicted boundary but are in keeping with the character of the surrounding field pattern. They are interpreted as the remains of former field boundaries possibly of medieval to post-medieval origin that were removed prior to circa 1840.
