Torbay HER record (SMR record). SDV361984.
Lower Yalberton Farm is the site of a medieval sub-holding which formed part of the Bishops of Exeter's Manor of Peintona. It is mentioned in the "Testa de Nevil" in 1244, where some early descents are given.[1]
Yalberton was a sub-let portion of the Manor of Paignton in the early fourteenth century.[2]
