Full description
Torbay HER record (SMR record). SDV361984.
The limekiln is depicted on the 1864 OS County Series First Edition 1:2500 contained on the Torbay HBSMR GIS layer. It lies 10m north west of quarry SMR SX85NE/50. It is also shown on subsequent OS maps of 1890, 1933 but not on the 1963 Ordnance Survey Map.[1][2][3]
The site is now waste and lies within a housing estate, to the rear of 107-109 Harbourne Avenue and behind 14 Stapleton Close.[4]
