Full description
Torbay HER record (SMR record). SDV361984.
An "Old limekiln" is depicted the OS 1864 County Series 1:2500, contained on a Torbay HBSMR GIS layer, within land parcel 1455; and on the OS 1890 1:10,000.[1] The kiln is not marked on the 1904 OS County Series.
The site was under a spoil heap in 1983.[2]. The quarry edge was within 20 m by 2000. The Bluesky aerial photographs of 2007 which form a layer on Torbay Council's GIS of 2007 indicate that the site has been lost
