A stone rubble and cob 3-room and through-passage farmhouse early/mid 17C, possibly earlier; the main range is 3 windows wide and 2-storeyed. The hall and parlour now combined. Full-length rear lean-to, possibly original. Projecting cross-wing at either end, added later; that to right is part of the old house, that to left converted in 1990-1 from what was probably the threshing-barn. Attached to left side of barn is a lean-to with rounded pillar at front end, possibly a formerly open-fronted cartshed. At rear of barn is a lean-to with 2 small compartments (possibly pigsties) and loft over; said to have been an apple loft.List description at
Greenover farmhouse, no 25 horsepool street, is a 15/16th century building, possibly of earlier origin and based on the plan of a passage house. it has two storeys with flanking wings, the left hand one is used as a barn. the righthand one could be a later addition. citing of (doe).
