Full description
Torbay HER record (SMR record). SDV361984.
Linear marks, two of which could be part of double-ditched enclosure, were recorded from the air on 7 July 1984.[1] When visited as part of the DPRFP on 16 Nov 1987 [2] and again on 14 Jan 1988 [3] two parallel marks were observed to lie on the west side of a small terrace in the gentle south slope which could be an enclosure.[4]
The Tithe Map suggests that some of the marks could be boundaries to a plantation strip.[5] But there is no evidence for this on the First Edition OS County Series surveyed 1862-87.
