Nos 171 & 173 Westhill Road were built as a 2 storeyed stucco-faced villa (171) with a service wing (173), known as Plainmoor Villa. The main block has a 3 window symmetrical front - outer windows in slight breaks rusticated on ground floor - low hipped slate roof with flat eaves; central enclosed double pilastered porch with deep entablature and balustrade. 6 panel door with semicircular fanlight, hipped slate roof; stacks with rendered shafts with cornices or platbands.
