The Quarry is depicted on the 1861 OS County Series 1:2500 contained on a Torbay HBSMR GIS layer; on the 1904 OS First Revision it is shown as "Old Quarry" with other quarry workings on the west side; similarly on the 1933 OS Second Revision - both are also HBSMR GIS layers.
The quarry is shown but not labelled on the Ordnance Survey 6 inch map of 1963..
It is now surrounded by houses: situated between 21 and 29 Wheatlands Road, with 25 built over the former old quarry edge; to the north 67, 80-90 Elsdale Road.
