Full description
Torbay HER record (SMR record). SDV361984.
Goodrington Quarry is shown on the 1904 OS County Series First Revision 1: 2500 contained on a Torbay HBSMR GIS layer; and on the 1933 and 1963 OS 6 inch/1;10 000 maps.[1][2] The quarry is an irregular rectangle with side s of c. 45m x 65m. It was serviced by what was then Dartmouth Road, but is now Waterside Road and was situated between the two junctions of this road with the dual carriageway section of Dartmouth Road, which is built over its western edges.
